Taking care of yourself during the Covid-19 pandemic
The outbreak of the coronavirus has impacted us all and with the situation changing so rapidly, you may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious and stressed. Many of us will be social distancing or self-isolating, and it's important to practise selfcare during this challenging time.
Thankfully, there are many online resources to help us stay positive and engaged - from free yoga classes to interesting podcasts and support forums. We've pulled together some resources below that may help you.
• Beyond Blue has some good tips on how to look after your mental wellbeing during this time. They also have an online support forum
• Smiling Mind has helpful tips on practising mindfulness
• Headspace has a "Weathering the Storm" program that includes calming meditations
• Better Health Channel has some great tips to work on your mental fitness
• The State Library of Victoria has many eBooks you can read and the ABC has many podcasts you can get stuck into to help take your mind off the current situation
