On the 7th August, Diabetes Australia - VIC and the Life! team visited parliament house to check MPs' risk of type 2 diabetes. This was a continuation of National Diabetes Week and an initiative from the Victorian Parliamentary Diabetes Support Group.
The Health Minister, the Hon David Davis; Jane Garret MP (State Member for Brunswick) and Ben Carroll MP (State member for Niddrie) were just some of the politicians and staff who took time out of their busy schedules to check their risks.
